With so many exciting deals on the go it was essential we find a keen and capable Analyst to add fresh ideas as well as additional bilingual and cross-border expertise to the team, support our clients, and drive further growth at the firm. Cannelle joins us from Paris, where she completed her Corporate Finance degree before diving straight into the world of M&A with a boutique advisory firm, followed by expanding her professional experience with a bank-led Private Equity company.
Having always dreamed of living in London, Cannelle is delighted to bring her fast-developing skills and experience to the UK M&A scene and is eager to both share her perspective with the team, and absorb as much local market knowledge as possible. She’s worked across a variety of sectors and structures and has a particular passion for healthcare and education due to their vital position in, and impact on, the community as well as the M&A world. Given LAVA’s extensive network and huge range of deals in the education sector in particular, Cannelle is sure to find plenty to occupy her.
While the location was a draw on its own, it was LAVA’s unique stance on M&A that really caught her eye, presenting an intriguing opportunity with a genuinely novel take on both dealmaking and teambuilding.

Freshly planted in the Camden area, Cannelle has been making the most of exploring the locale and setting herself up with the essentials, including her beloved gym membership. Not a party animal, Cannelle is happiest curled up with a book or catching up with friends, and is very much looking forward to what her new life in London will bring.
